| This topic is for those members who do not know how to take and upload a screen shot. Its easy, follow these simple steps:
press the Print Screen key to capture an image of only the active window, i.e: Alt + Print Screen
- To capture an image (2 ways):-
Press the Print Screen key (located near the upper-right corner on your keyboard) to capture an image of your entire screen. Press and hold the Alt key and then Once you've captured the image (only one image can be stored at a time), you can extract the image by opening any one of the following programs (Microsoft Word/ Microsoft Publisher/ Adobe Photoshop /Microsoft Paint). I would recommend Microsoft Paint. Once you've opened Paint, click inside the white screen and then paste the image (by going to the Edit menu and click Paste or Ctrl + V). Now you can see the snapshot you took earlier in the window. Please remember to cut/crop the image to the right size by clicking the rectangular "Select" tool.
- Then save (Click File - Save As) the screen shot to the disk and remember to save it as JPEG (recommended) or PNG (to do this select JPEG from the Save as Type option when you are saving).
- Once you've saved your image, you can send the image to somebody by e-mail. You can also upload it onto the Internet by visiting a site like TinyPic.com or Image Shack (http://www.imageshack.us/).
- Once you've uploaded it, you'll notice many links to share like "HTML for websites", "Direct Link for Layouts" etc. You'll notice a link titled as "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards", copy that link and paste it in the space provided when you click the Insert Image button located in the toolbar of this forum. When you have finished doing this, you will notice that your image has been successfully uploaded onto this forum.
